About My Leg, My Choice

My Leg, My Choice is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation committed to educating patients and their families that have been diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease (P.A.D.) or are at risk for lower extremity amputations about their options. We provide information for patients, patient outreach programs, and P.A.D. screenings for high risk individuals.

Health experts have long recognized that undetected and untreated P.A.D. contributes to diminished quality of life, decreased functional status, and increased rates of lower extremity amputation, heart attack, stroke, and death.

Finding and treating Peripheral Artery Disease (P.A.D), also known as Peripheral Arterial Disease early can help keep legs healthy, lower the risk of for heart attack or stroke, and increase mortality and mobility.
