P.A.D. Patient Outreach
My Leg, My Choice is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation committed to educating patients and their families that have been diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease (P.A.D.) or are at risk for lower extremity amputations about their options. We provide P.A.D. Patient Outreach programs, information for patients and their families, and no or low cost P.A.D. screenings for high risk individuals.
P.A.D. develops slowly over many years and many people with P.A.D. have no symptoms. Only about 1 out of 3 people with P.A.D. actually feel there is something wrong with their feet or legs.
We Believe Knowledge Is Power
The My Leg, My Choice website and patient outreach seminars present easy to understand information, so you and your care providers can learn more about P.A.D. Education, prevention, symptoms, diagnosis, choices for treatments, and know that amputation is not the only option.
